Traveler's Checks

Traveler's checks can be exchanged for cash at banks or exchange booths.

A number of stores still accept the checks instead cash.

Nonetheless, the forms of credit cards and debit cards have

become a more preferred means of payment by travelers.

Thus trading checks is hardly observed nowadays as

there is seemingly a decreasing number of stores that offer this service.

When you need to exchange your foreign currency into Korean won,

visit a bank, exchange service center, or an authorized exchange.

○ Almost Bank business hours

09:00-16:00

 Standard Chartered Bank hours 09:30-16:30

● EVERRICH Bank hours

Most of the businesses in Korea widely use

and accept payment by credit cards

including at major hotels, department stores, large restaurants and stores.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and other credit cards can be used

however check the service availability before making purchases

as some stores may not be subject to this service.

I hope you have a nice travel in South Korea.

Thank you for Reading.

if you visit in Korea

You must drinking "Soju"

What is "Soju"?

"Soju" is Korean local drink.

it is best selling in Korea.

Korea's most popular alcoholic beverage.

While it is traditionally made from rice, wheat, or barley,

modern producers often replace rice with other starches

such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, or tapioca.

Soju is clear and colorless.

Its alcohol content varies from about 16.7% to 45% alcohol by volume.

if you hope my recommend,

I recommend kind of fruits soju.

"Jamong e isle" taste is grapefruit (Jamong) - the left

"soonhari" taste is citron (Yuja) - The right

it is lower alcohol than normal Soju

and taste good.

If you want to more lower alcohol,

my recommend is it!

"Isle tok tok" taste is peach - the left.

"Tok Soda" taste is tropical - Center.

"Burader Soda" taste is Strawberry - the right.

this kind of Soju is about 4.5% alcohol.

that price is 3,000 ~ 4,000won in restaurant.

if you want to drink in your hotel,

you can buy it at convenience store.

there's retail price is 1,300 ~ 1,800won.

If you less than 19 years old, you can't buy it

Excessive drinking is harmful to health.
